Crowns and Bridges
At Brookdale Dentistry, we make sure to improve your oral health in a way that also enhances your aesthetics. If you’re missing a tooth or more, or have a tooth that is severely decayed, we can use dental crowns and dental bridges to solve your dental problem. Dr. Ali Shakib is an experienced and highly skilled dentist in placing dental restorations with no pain or discomfort. You’re new teeth will function just as well as your natural ones. They will be indistinguishable from your original teeth.
Dental Crowns
Dental Crowns are used to replace either one tooth, or to restores a tooth shape and size after too much decayed structure has been removed. The dental cap is designed to look exactly like its replacement and is made to fit perfectly on your original tooth root, or on a dental implant.
Dental Bridge
Dental Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth or more, by being attached to the neighbouring teeth of the gap. Being a set of three or more dental crowns stuck together, they get placed on the adjacent teeth, automatically filling the gapped space by artificial teeth.
Dental crowns and bridges tend to enhance your looks, speech and chewing habits. You’ll be able to smile confidently without the fear of showing your missing teeth gaps. You’ll notice a distinct elevation in your overall quality of life.
White Fillings
White fillings are the alternatives to silver (amalgam) fillings. They are made of a strong composite resin that is matched to the surrounding tooth colour. In the past, these fillings were placed only on front teeth, but today, a stronger more durable material has been developed that can withstand the chewing pressure of back teeth. At Brookdale Dentistry, we treat you like family. We make sure that you receive the highest quality of dental services with everlasting longevity and strength.
White fillings are most commonly used for:
- Aesthetic enhancement
- Patients who prefer mercury-free fillings
- Patients with sensitivity to heat or cold
Broken Tooth Repair:
The patient presented with a broken tooth. We had three options: do nothing, extract the tooth or build up the tooth as filling. All treatment options were discussed and patient chose option 3. After the restorative procedure was she was really happy 😊
